I received a notice in the mail today from Lincoln Center to inform me that the recital of Diana Damrau that had been scheduled for Sunday February 20, 2011, at Alice Tully Hall in New York, will not take place.

Instead, Sarah Connolly, along with pianist Malcolm Martineau, will perform on Thursday April 14, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in Alice Tully Hall.

Andreas Scholl’s new Purcell CD is being released today at amazon.de, on November 22 at amazon.com, and on January 17, 2011, at amazon.co.uk.

Despite the later release of the CD in the UK, the recording has been available to people in the UK for MP3 download at amazon.co.uk since October 5, 2010.
