recordings of Handel’s Ariodante, the one recorded by Mark Minkowski
and Les Musiciens du Louvre is generally considered the better. Anne Sofie von Otter, Lynne Dawson, and
Ewa Podles star. The French
magazine Diapason in its May 2001 issue numbered this recording among the
